Hugh Bickerstaff

Hugh has been a leading player in Australia’s technology industry with first-hand experience in founding, scaling and working with some of Australia’s most successful and fastest growing technology companies. As a founding member and COO of the Volante Group, Hugh was instrumental to elevating the business to Australia’s leading ASX listed IT infrastructure, professional services and outsourcing solutions organization. Hugh was most recently the Global Chief Investment Officer for Investible, (a global early stage Investment Company that provides Founders with the financial and entrepreneurial support required to grow and scale their businesses). In this role Hugh championed and scouted exciting investments for a number of Funds / Angel Investors across the globe. Over my career I have been involved in key roles and transformation challenges across entrepreneurial startups to global corporate organisations. I have gathered extensive Information Technology, Investment, Digital and electronic security skills and experience across both private and public companies with strong high performance growth cultures. A leader who is able to work with stakeholders to set strategy, align resources to that strategy and then execute strongly. I have been extremely effective in change management and transitions where strategy demands new focus and strong execution. Outside of Investible I am also a strategic advisor and Chairman of a number of exciting global startups and the father of four wonderful children.
